If you are like many people you set new goals for the year.  And, if you are like the majority of people the optimistic feelings of hope and excitement that come with goal setting may already be a distant memory.

The Art of Anticipation When Leading Change

Small or big, change is unavoidable in the workplace.  Regardless of why a change is taking place and the benefits of the change, change is a leading cause of turbulence in the workplace.   Contrary to popular belief it’s not change

Don’t get overwhelmed, start with the ideal number of goals

It’s the time of year when hopes are high and people are ready for change.  It’s a chance for a do-over.   A second chance to try again.  To do all those things you wanted to last year.  The problem is

If your company were a car…

If your company were a car, what kind of car would it be?  This may remind you of a bad line from an old interviewing manual: if you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be? Every interviewee’s worst

Confessions of a D

In the world of DiSC, I am a straight-up D and I wouldn’t have it any other way but over the years I’ve learned to use my strengths responsibly, especially when other people are concerned. Translation: with age comes emotional

An invaluable skill to develop…

Emotional Intelligence – knowing what needs to be done, understanding that other people have different priorities, and figuring out how to get them to buy-in. Emotional Intelligence is not easy and does not come natural for most people simply because

How can I…? Thinking above the line

How often do you stop to ask yourself “What can I…?” or “How can I…? when things aren’t going your way? I’ve been reading a great book about personal accountability that really has me thinking and questioning the way I

Self-leadership: where are you taking yourself?

Leadership skills are a critical factor for business success but leadership is so much more than leading others. A more important trait of a good leader is self-leadership. If you have good self-leadership, leading others will come naturally.  Self-leadership includes

I found Liz's "How to Organize & Manage Your Time" book to be essential for keeping me on the path to reaching both my personal and professional goals. I am also part of a small group that meets monthly and we all use Liz's book. The group offers us all the accountability and support that is necessary to move forward with our goals. My sister (who is in the group with me) often says that she wouldn't be doing half of the things she is if it weren't for us meeting every month, sharing our successes and struggles. I remember what Liz said when I first got my book and talked with her about how to use it: after the year is finished, you'll be able to look at your book, and see exactly how you got to where you are! I have found this to be true, and I'm excited to move ahead with my "new year" and another book!

Your course is amazing and timely...especially since I am switching over and getting extremely refined on my ideal client. Today, it felt great to write new content for my VFO. You see, I've always addressed or written it for the "employee or individual". Now, the new content is for the biz owner or boss and it feels right on. Today, I also had to check a marketing strategy opportunity to my marketing statement. Lo and behold, it was not a fit!!! YAY to saving me money!

Before I started the “5 Steps to Attract & Engage Qualified Leads” program, I felt like I was spinning my wheels. I wasn’t sure how to attract my ideal client and engage them in a way to build the know, like, trust factor. As a result of this program, I am clear on what steps I need to take to attract qualified leads and turn them into clients. This program walked me through step by step what I need to do to make that happen.

I loved the Business Builder's Workshop. I've tried putting together a business plan in the past by myself, but it was never as detailed and complete as it is now that I've worked with Liz. Liz really helps you dig deeper into your business and helps you define your target market. I now have a clear and realistic plan to move forward with and I'm motivated to make my business grow and be successful.

Liz has helped me implement ideas by giving me specific action steps I can accomplish one step at a time. She helped me look at my business in a broader sense with a combination of short-term and long term goals. I have a couple of my best marketing systems in place that are not only easy to duplicate but, most importantly, work. Last month was my best month ever!
